And with words unspoken, a silent devotion, I know you know what I mean. The end is unknown, but I think I’m ready.. as long as you’re with me

What my desktop looks like right now. Notice how the time at the analog clock at the upper right differs from the time at the digital clock at the bottom right? That’s because the time at the analog clock is GMT +04:00, which is the local time at Moscow (and only a few friends of mine would know why I’m interested in Moscow’s time)
I’m also loving my wallpaper which has hombre written all over it, whilst the city lights - which are very adorable and lovely. The weather at the city is cold. Hoping for my rainy and cuddle days for this October! <3

 #cyber crime law

Honestly, the Cyber Crime Law describes everything that is wrong with the Philippine Government. I mean, why would a sane person pass a bill that isn’t even badly needed right now by the society, considering the ample and obvious lack of funds for it? What good does this law would do, especially in a modern and internet-connected world that we now live in.

Don’t get me wrong. I understand everything there is in the Cyber Crime Law. I am with the law when it comes to targeting anonymous people committing all those cyber crimes known to men like identity theft, internet bullying, hacking, internet fraud, and the like. I salute the government for coming up with such a law that regulates people illegally doing such things on the internet.

But I don’t think that libel would be right and just for this law. I mean, just because a Senator got himself humiliated and got his ego kicked to the core by thousands of netizens from the Philippines and from all over the world for plagiarizing speeches, it doesn’t mean that our country’s freedom of speech would be suddenly held against us.

It just ain’t fair for everybody.

Of course, our President is also one of the main casts in this horrific play - for his contribution in signing and approving the law that basically suppresses our so-called “freedom of speech”, which utterly contradicts to what his famous and beloved parents have fought for all their lives. That’s just wrong.

Despite our country’s glorious lack of funds, the government is still willing to allot a whopping 50 million Pesos for the implementation of this law. If the government would just divide that particular 50 million and distribute it to the development of schools, public works, and employment generators for the less fortunate, then somehow, it could lead to the betterment of our nation. That 50 million pesos from every Filipino’s pockets being wasted in such heinous law.

Everything that’s happening right now in the world is so disappointing. What happened to the good glory days that were so cheerful and vibrant? How I wish that the government would just sit down and get their priorities in order. There’s still so much to work on and this Law is just making it all harder for everyone. Fix the things that are broken and don’t break the things that are intact - like the Freedom of Speech.

Btw, The Bonfire of Vanity isn’t going anywhere, and I think all the other blogs out there would say that it takes a lot more than a Cyber Crime Law to bring them down. #NoToCyberCrimeLaw

Things won’t be easy.

Growing up, we learn that life is designed to be extremely difficult to go through. Yes, there will be times when you would feel like just giving up and throwing your hands in the air. There will be moments when you would feel like you’ve got so much going on that you can’t prioritize on what problem to face first.

Life will confuse you. Life will be a pain in the ass.

But you have to understand that no matter how hard your so-called “problem” is, you are not the only one that’s gonna have to face it. The rest of the people in this lifetime is having the same problems as you - maybe even those problems that you think are unique enough.

The thing is, nothing in this world comes easy. In this world, you are your own soldier. You face your problems, you get up from the failures, and you celebrate all the success. That’s just the cycle of life - try, fail, try again, succeed.

It’s a hard knock life for everyone, including you. It’s just a matter of how strong you choose to be when faced with the world’s toughest challenges. You gotta learn how to keep your head up!

Watched The Cab last night at the Glorietta Activity Center and I gotta say, that mini-concert was hella crazy! The Cab sang all their hit songs as their Filipino fans (including me) sang our heart out. Before the concert, I was just a regular fan of The Cab but after a couple of songs went by, I knew that I have an addition to my roster of favorite artists and bands.

On the other note, I think it’s crazy that I still get to capture some pictures of the concert and upload it on Instagram while I’m beeing swooned away by the energy of the fans and the pure talent of The Cab.

In case you haven’t noticed the obvious, I haven’t got the chance to actually blog something for about a week already. I think it’s becoming my habit to just blog every weekend and I feel the need to seriously step up my blogging game.

You can blame my undeniable addiction to Instagram and my non-stop downloading of song at iTunes for consuming my so-called “blogging time”. Posting random travel photos at Instagram is taking the best of me and I just can’t help but download one The Cab or Foster The People songs after another.

So yeah, if internet and gadgets would suddenly disappear now, I would die.

— Let’s Move & Let’s Love

Growing up, love is one of the main things that are being taught in the real world. Society basically taught us that love is very powerful - it can move mountains, it can go beyond bounds, it can surpass anything, even the impossible. We have learned and kept the true essence of love in our hearts and minds - that we are born to love and we are deserved to be love, no matter who we are.

As a third year full-time College student, 24 hours just won’t suffice to everything that I need and want to do in a day. As a result of the non-stop cramming (no thanks to the piling school works and duties), I don’t get to really show my love to my family, my friends, and my peers. Don’t get me wrong, I love them deeply, it’s just that, I feel like I haven’t expressed them to the best way that I can because I feel that the pressure from stress and school are getting the best of me.

So, to express and make up for the “lost times”, if I may say, I’m planning to give out a little something when the Holiday season comes for those people whom I cared and loved the most. Those people include the ones who have been by my side through thick and thin, as well as to those who never failed to support me in every step I take, no matter how crazy some of the steps might be. I feel like I may take some of them for granted sometimes, so I think that a gift is just the right thing to give in return.

I know that material gifts on Christmas Day just won’t suffice for the unconditional love and support that those people have given me, but I firmly believe that in everything you give out, the thought counts more than the price tag. Besides, this is my way of showing my unending love to my family and friends for caring for me.

For those who feel like they aren’t showing their love enough for those people who deserve it (like me), I suggest that it is time to think of something unique to do for you to be able to show your love for them.

In celebration with human spirit and giving generously for your loved ones, the United Colors of Benetton has launched two perfume brands that aims to encourage people to move and love!

For more information about the campaign, visit the United Colors of Benetton Perfumes page. Remember, it’s never too late to move and express your love to anyone! <3
